How to make your Glasshouse candle last

A few simple habits make a big difference to how evenly a candle burns and how long you get to enjoy it. These are the tips I give customers in the shop:

1Let the first burn reach the edge

Leave it lit until the whole top surface has melted. If you blow it out too soon, it can “tunnel” down the middle and waste wax around the sides.

2Trim the wick before each light

A short, neat wick gives a calmer flame and less soot on the glass.
