RAPT ONLINE is a proudly Kiwi-owned business led by Anj Kelly, bringing together women’s fashion, thoughtful gifts and distinctive home décor. We select pieces with personality and make them available to customers across New Zealand and Australia through our online store.

Our Story

RAPT has grown and changed with its customers while staying focused on memorable finds, personal service and products chosen to make dressing, gifting and creating a home feel more special.

RAPT Timeline

March 2026

RAPT closed its Botany Town Centre store and moved to an online-only model, making its fashion, gifts and home décor available wherever customers choose to shop.

2019

After trading temporarily in The Lane during renovations, RAPT moved into the newly renovated Garden Lane at Botany Town Centre.

2015–2016

RAPT opened a store on Broadway in Newmarket in 2015. It later closed during major redevelopment of the surrounding retail precinct.

2012

The RAPT store underwent a complete refit, creating a refreshed setting for its women’s fashion, gifts and homeware.

2009

Surprizes Botany was rebranded as RAPT, establishing a new identity centred on women’s fashion, gifts and home décor. The RAPT ONLINE website also launched, extending the range to customers throughout New Zealand.

2007

RAPT was established as a Kiwi-owned and operated business with a focus on thoughtful gifts, women’s fashion and homeware.

2001

The story began with Surprizes Botany, which opened alongside Botany Town Centre and laid the foundations for the business that became RAPT.
